We have an extensive SOP document management system in Sharepoint which holds 1000+ word documents. While the current system meets our needs for version control and approval management, I am particularly interested in the information search from within the documents. Confluence shows snippets of data within existing documents , and the user does not need to open the SOPs.
Is it possible to integrate this Confluence Search Tool capability with our existing sharepoint repository? We are not looking for moving the database or another document management solution.
Would appreciate if you can point me to any other tools in the market that can solve this use case.
