Default Useravatar returning 403 Http Error

Julian March 17, 2020

Hi,

I am running confluence 7.3.3 behind a nginx reverse proxy (configuration below). Confluence isn't able to get the default avatar (https://<baseUrl>/images/icons/profilepics/default.svg) at all, it's returning a 403 error. Does anyone know what I could do in order to fix that?

Nginx configuration: https://pastebin.com/tgjwarB7 (Please note that confluence is not running on the same machine)

I also tried https://pastebin.com/s3UxtnHi, still doesn't work (when I use http://localIp:8090/images/icons/profilepics/default.svg) it works. So I think it might be something in the nginx / confluence webserver configuration
