Confluence Cloud Space as Partner Portal

Nikki Leonard May 17, 2021

I would like to use confluence (we have the cloud version) as a partner portal of sorts. Basically, it would be a dedicated space specifically for that partner to log in and see different information such as schedule, updates, activity feed, etc. without giving them access to other partner's spaces.

This space would be

  • Password protected
  • Partner allowed to comment
  • Partner allowed to submit jira tickets

Has anyone used confluence for this in the past? How did you create the space and didn't it require additional liscences?

@Nikki Leonard - It will require your partner to have a license to do the three things listed above.

@Nikki Leonard I was wondering if you were able to build and deliver a partner portal through confluence?

Not officially, but we are still evaluating and there are public facing confluence page options now.  They rolled out in May 2021 I believe. These can be password protected as well.
