Code Block highlighting

In the new confluence version we can use the "code block" and assign language to the code in the block, but there's no highlighting. Is it working as intended?

It seems to work as intended in my Confluence Cloud instance for CSS, HTML and JavaScript code syntax highlighting:

What language are you trying to use?

wow. that's super weird. I swear it was not working before, since I checked it many-many times, but now, after your post, it is working (for bash).
