When i try to install confluence 6.2 with psql - 9.3, It shows HTTP 500 error. Then after clearing the cache folders, it shows the below error

A system error has occurred — our apologies!

For immediate troubleshooting, consult our knowledge base for a solution.

If you would like to receive support from Atlassian's support team, ask your Confluence administrator to create a support issue on Atlassian's support system with the following information:

  1. a description of your problem and what you were doing at the time it occurred
  2. a copy of the error and system information found below
  3. a copy of the application logs (if possible).

Your Confluence administrator can use the support request form to create a support ticket which will include this information.

We will respond as promptly as possible.
Thank you!

Naveenkumar, one customer was getting that error because of a corrupt confluence.cfg.xml file in the root of the Confluence Home directory, but in the majority of cases the error is thrown when the user running Confluence doesn't have sufficient permissions on the file system. The article Steve linked has more details.

Please update when you get a chance, and let us know if you fixed it, and how.

... Did you attempt to google this error and resolve the basic KB articles?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/confluence-does-not-start-due-to-spring-application-context-has-not-been-set-218278311.html

This error means that at a basic level you have failed to provide a succsessful enviroinment for the application, it cannot start the webapp. It could be anything from the amount of RAM you have allocated to a bad JDBC driver.
