This is interesting to me. Looks like a page that's not connected to a space. I'm curious if I could have a Company Space as well, so I could have a whole bunch of information about the company, rather than just a single page.

Absolutely interested in this for my own confluence and for the company I work for. Currently we need to use separate solution just for this, but centralising everyone in Confluence would be a huge improvement!

Since using this would necessitate everyone in the company having a Confluence license, we will not be using this cool new feature.

This is something we absolutely need.  I had hoped the announcement at TEAM '24 meant that this was closer to GA than it seems to be.

Looks great. We wouldn't require this at a company level but this would serve our users well at a space level, is that possible within Company Hub @Alli Shea?

Having tested the Company Hub as part of the EAP, I think I get the unique selling point: having a unified front face to Confluence, a simple way of highlighting key resources.

Looking forward to the upcoming carousel feature being included, too.

@Niki Kavanagh Yes! You can use the components you see on the Company Hub, such as the carousel macro, cards macro, and new header on a space overview page. If you're using spaces for different teams, that would be one way of creating a team hub.

Hello, what are the key features that sets this apart from a confluence space?

Love the design! 

Just running into a little glitch when testing this... When I first enabled it, I had a page-permissions like experience with giving access to another editor. Now it seems to have changed to a space- permissions but when trying to give access to another editor it doesn't seem to allow them to edit. Is it user error?

@Rodrigo Angulo Different than a space, there is no page-tree within a Hub. Additionally, the Hub becomes a new item in navigation, next to the Confluence logo.

Some questions:

- how clear is the conceptual difference to users between the hub and the home button?

- placeholder texts stay in published hub - hard to delete it

- I cannot choose not to show an emoji?

- Should the carrousel turn around automatically, or do I need to push it manually?

Some more automation for Hub 2.0 would be welcome.

Great questions. You will be able to name the Hub, so part of the conceptual difference would get established there. 

Conceptually, you can think of the Home tab today as where you find and get back to work. Comparatively, the Hub is intended to be a place for up-to-date announcements, news, key resources, and more. How you customize that surface is up to you! 

The carousel right now is static, there is not yet a way to make it automatically turn.

We already have a confluence site for this purpose. Don't see us paying to upgrade in order to get this which seems to do the same job.

We have a Confluence space that serves as our company hub/Intranet. Is there a way to redirect users to that space home page via the Company hub button? The workaround I have in mind now is to just include a link to the Intranet space on the Company Hub page, but I'd much rather avoid a click.

@jkoch this is not exactly what you are looking for but could help. We created a Redirection app. you can redirect a page to another page or anywhere else outside of Confluence.

When this feature is out of the test phase will it have an additional cost?
