Seeking input for new Company Hub features

Hi Atlassian Community,

It’s been a couple months since we’ve made Company Hub generally available for our Premium+ customers. Now that you’ve had some time to engage with the feature, we’d love to get some feedback on additional new types of features that you’d like to share on your Company Hub.

Some improvements we’re actively building include:

• Ability to dynamically populate cards with a filter

• Ability to broadcast updates to the whole company via notifications, email, and Slack

• Ability to reorder cards

• Ability to create text-only cards (without an image)

Some additional features that we're in the process of designing include:

• Spotlight component to highlight a special announcement

• Polls / Surveys to gather live data and insights from your audience

• Q&A to crowdsource top-of-mind employee questions for all-hands meetings

• Auto-transition for Carousel

• Audience segmentation to create hub content for different user groups

• Calendars to show workplace events and holidays

Which of these new features resonate with you? Are there other features that you would like to see? Please sound off in the comments below!

And I'd love to see these in particular:

Especially the audience segmentation would be very useful for us since we have a mix of internal and external users on our site.

Of the features provided above, the following make me excited:

• Spotlight component to highlight a special announcement
• Audience segmentation to create hub content for different user groups

Before those, honestly, I would really rather see:

• The ability to set the company portal as the landing page for users when they enter our confluence site and in doing so remove it from the top navigation bar.
• A widget or some way to display a list of spaces, that way the user doesn't need to navigate to the space directory.
• The ability to re-order cards with the cards widget. Right now it is painful to edit that widget.

Happy to see improvements being made to the Company hub - audience segmentation FTW!

🗓️ If the concept of audience segmentation could be extended to calendar events, that'd be amazing.

Certain events you want everyone to know about, but others might be intended a specific office, division, team, or geo-location...

I really like this funtionality and the way its developed. So far I really miss the page history. Also, already mentioned calendars would be a nice addition.

To use it as a central intranet point from my point of view it is essential to:

• display news (blog posts) from various spaces dynamically via label filtering- (Ability to dynamically populate cards with a filter). Set the cards once and then use it on a daily basis to get the latest company blog news.
• Spotlight component to highlight a special announcement
• new:
  • nice mobile view of the hub
  • AI activated search bar with Ask AI
  • it should load as qick as possible to give instant access and an overview
  • set it as a start page

Additional nice to have:

• Audience segmentation to create hub content for different user groups
• Calendar (possible right now via the integration of team calendards)
• Polls / Surveys to gather live data and insights from your audienc
• Q&A to crowdsource top-of-mind employee questions for all-hands meetings
• Auto-transition for Carousel
• new:
  • an integration of parts from confluence home:
  • last viewed / edited
  • starred spaces
  • starred sites
  • open confluence tasks
  • open jira tasks

I'm just working with a local community neighbourhood at the moment, so it's limited what I could get them to adopt. I'll certainly think about it as you have a good product there.

Oh, this is great. I would love the following features:

I would appreciate it if we could also adjust the wrapping/alignment of the text within the cards.

We are on Cloud Premium and do not seem to have Company Hub, so how can we get it?  We are excited about the features it offers

The features in development should become available in the next month:

• Ability to dynamically populate cards with a filter

• Ability to reorder cards

• Ability to create text-only cards (without an image)

• 1 centralized location for all Hub Settings including version history and analytics.

Specifically for Audience Segmentation, what information is available for segmentation? Are user profiles typically filled out? As a first step, we are thinking to allow customers to segment content by user groups i.e. allow US-ConfluenceUsers user group to view the US location articles, allow PeopleManagers-ConfluenceUsers user group to view articles for People Managers.

@Margaret Boisvert In order to activate the Company Hub feature, you need to be a Confluence Premium Product Admin. You can find the feature in your Confluence top navigation bar.
