We’ll kick off Confluence Premium Week with some fun! The theme this year is television Primetime with Confluence Premium television, so staying true to our theme…. drumroll please….let’s roll out the red carpet for our first ever Confluence Premium Awards Season!

Add a comment to share what award you'd give your favorite Premium feature!

In the spirit of the Confluence Premium Awards season, we want to know:

  1. What’s your favorite movie or TV show (because we’re curious slightly smiling face) AND

  2. What award / superlative would you grant your favorite Confluence Premium feature and why? Get creative (get inspired by examples below!)

✋🏼 I’ll go first and share an example:

  • "My favorite show is Schitt's Creek (never fails to make me laugh…!) and I’d grant Confluence AI a “Best at Turning Chaos to Clarity” award because it helps our team clean up messy meeting notes, summarizing long pages, and more!"

At the end of today, we'll be randomly selecting winners who participate by dropping a comment below...so if you want to be in the running for a Premium Week-exclusive swag bag, please leave a comment!

Want some creative inspo?

Last week, we tagged in Atlassian Creators to cosplay as red carpet coordinators, asking them to give accolades to their favorite Confluence Premium features and describe what award they would grant them.

So without further ado, here are our winners of the inaugural Confluence Premium Awards... Feel free to use them for inspiration for your own awards!

1. @Manon Soubies-Camy: "Best Partner in Crime Award goes to to Mission Control for turning those hours of admin work into seconds of actual insights"

2. @Robert Hean: "The Why Can't I See That?? Award goes to Inspect Permissions for visually showing what someone can or can't do on any content and makes troubleshooting really simple." (See more awards in his video!)

3. @Matt Reiner [K15t]: "The Feature that Knows More about Our Work Than We Do (In a Good Way) Award goes to Atlassian Intelligence for helping users find answers, generating content and connect the dots." (See more awards in his video!)

1. My favorite TV show (of all time) is Ted Lasso. This show is amazing in so many ways, but especially met the moment during COVID when we all needed the good feels.
2. My favorite Confluence Premium feature has to be Atlassian Intelligence. We love how quickly lengthy SOPs can be summarized and action items can be turned into Jira issues, but most importantly how it helps us get unstuck from staring at a blank document by providing relevant suggestions. Thank you Atlassian Intelligence! You're the winner in our book (doc?)!

My favourite feature by far is the ability to have a Sandbox environment. I can test out things before putting them in live including marketplace apps where we can trial different products to pick the best that suits us, I can do demos without affecting production, and of course an excellent place to train people and let them have a go without any fear of deleting something they are not meant to.

Don't know what's harder - to pick a show/movie or a Confluence feature...

Years back, I was a fan of movies but for a while now I much prefer TV shows as I don't even remember when I watched the whole movie in one sitting (the last one was Oppenheimer w. my family and I think we paused the film for 3 times at least 😂).

Anyway, I was just scrolling through my watched list on Netflix and I was amazed how much stuff I actually watched from start to end. Among everything, I would say Peaky Blinders would be the top pick for me. I think that one is pretty self-explanatory 😄

As for the feature, my Best Dramatic Click and Time Saver award would go to Live-edit pages as this is the one we have been using the most lately and I just can't describe how good it feels not having to hit that Publish button all the time! 😌

Favorite show is Top Gun

Favorite Feature is being able to insert the Jira macro into a Confluence page. We like our Jira projects to be transparent to our stakeholders and this gives them the ability to easily see the status of a ticket they are sponsoring.

Hey, have you heard of Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift? It’s an old movie, but it’s still my all-time favorite!

Speaking of favorites, I’ve been using Confluence Premium a lot lately, and one of the coolest features is Team Calendars. I’ve set up shared calendars to keep track of important sales milestones, demos, and client follow-ups. It’s like having a centralized hub for all our planning needs.

The best part is that these calendars sync seamlessly with our existing schedules. So, I can stay on top of everything without having to switch between different tools. It’s been a game-changer for our team, and I highly recommend it if you’re looking to streamline your planning process.

1. A recent favorite TV show I just finished watching? Invincible, based on the comic series. 👊

2. 🏆 One Confluence Premium feature I'd nominate for "Best Documentary Feature"? Whiteboards. Last month Whiteboards received native voting features, which should come in handy during retrospectives, or if you've got a Lean Coffee session and trying to figure out what to talk about.

1. My favorite series is “From.” I can’t stop watching and feel excited every time a new clue is found. ️🕵️

2. And the "Golden Master Key" award goes to the Admin key feature. It's a powerful tool that provides a seamless way to bypass page restrictions, ensuring that admins can quickly address issues and maintain control over the platform. ️🏆

Waited all day for this post, yesterday, hopefully I'm not too late!

Favorite TV show at the moment goes to Brookly99 and the award to best feature award, "Super Tidy", goes to Content Manager because it makes it so easy to clean up deactiaved owners of pages.

Favourite TV show is a old one but great one: Friends. Today I can still rewatch each episode an even laugh before the punchline.

My favourite Confluence feature is not a premium only functionality, but is the essence of Confluence. My "There is only ONE version" award goes to Live-Editing. Being able to collaborate on a page and know when somebody is editing a page and see their changes live, is the thing I love most.

Favorite show is Game of Thrones - just ignore the super bad ending of it.

Favorite Feature is also the content manager, because it really helps to tidy up dusty pages and page owners. With a good content management also Atlassian Intelligence provides better answers.

My favorite show is The Office (Michael Scott’s antics always crack me up), and I'd give Confluence Analytics the “Ultimate Scene-Stealer” award because it’s so good at spotlighting the insights we need for better decision-making. It’s like having Dwight’s efficiency but without the shenanigans!

My favorite show is Stranger Things – it keeps me on the edge of my seat every time! 🔦 I’d give the 'Mind Reader Award' to the Advanced Search feature in Confluence Premium, because it always seems to know exactly what I'm looking for, even in the depths of our content!

My current favorite TV Show is Severance, where people sever their work persona from their personal persona. This way I can be an Atlassian administrator without even knowing it!

My favorite Premium feature is having a Sandbox, a really important feature to have in my view, to test, prepare, provide training in, try out apps and more of such activities.

Thankfully, it is not like Highlander and there can be only one, because I also like several other premium features like the invaluable Inspect Permissions, Automation and the recently added Mission Control and Company Hub I'm getting into slowly.

G'day

My favorite movie or TV show is... The West Wing. The dialogue and drama is the best 8 seasons I have ever experienced. I can binge watch entire seasons if I didn't have to take care of basic life needs like eating, drinking and sleeping.

And so, the award for the Best (Anti)Drama Confluence Premium Feature is... Inspect Permissions!

OMG, Inspect Permissions sweeps the awards AGAIN this year! It has saved our Admins and users so much time since it answers the simplest of all questions:

  1. Why can't I/he/she access this page?
  2. Why can I/he/she access this page???

I was a user and admin on Standard before our organization made the switch to Premium and I can say with veracity, there is a lot less drama in our lives now!

My favorite TV show is Stranger Things – love the mix of mystery and adventure!

As for Confluence Premium, I would give the "Ultimate Time Saver" award to Analytics for helping us track page engagement and prioritize content updates. It is a game-changer!

My favorite show is The Blacklist and I'd award Confluence Analytics the "Red's Intelligence Excellence" trophy because it helps our team track content engagement, monitor document reach, and analyze information flow with Reddington-level accuracy. And the sleek new redesign? It turns our analytics into a beautifully organized briefing that even Red would approve.
