Hello! My name is Daani Faiz and I’m a product manager working on integrations at Atlassian. I’d like to invite you to try out our new Confluence for Figma widget, available in GA today.

Confluence for Figma gives teams a side-by-side view of project documentation and designs within Figma.

Key features include:

  1. View project details in the embed card that sync with changes in Confluence.

  2. Paste a Confluence URL inside Figma to quickly access project information.

  3. View embeds of Confluence pages directly from within Figma.

Why did we build it?

After engaging in many discussions with you, we heard that switching between various tools to accomplish a single task continues to be a major pain point in your day-to-day work. For many Figma users, Confluence serves as the central location where teams store details about the projects they are involved in such as goals, objectives, timelines, user stories, product requirements, and more. As a consequence of this, users found themselves frequently switching between tabs when working. So with this in mind, we thought, “why not bring Confluence project documentation closer to workflows in Figma?”

We hope this integration streamlines your workflows by avoiding the need to search for relevant project information by bringing it directly into Figma.

Who is it for?

While designers spend a lot of time in Figma, we know that there are plenty more individuals who have a hand in Figma to bring projects to life. By using this integration, cross-functional teams encompassing product managers, program managers, marketers, engineers, and more will benefit. The Confluence for Figma widget ensures that all stakeholders have access to the same, up-to-date context on projects, fostering a shared understanding, aligning everyone towards a common goal, and making more-informed decisions.

How do I get started?

Getting started is a simple as:
