We’re excited to introduce Automation for Confluence, now available in early access. It is available to preview for Confluence Cloud Premium and Enterprise customers.
Save time and energy when managing content across your growing Confluence site with Automation for Confluence by setting rules to complete a variety of repetitive tasks and workflows. With valuable time added back into your day you’re empowered to focus more on your creative, human skillset instead of tedious paperwork and housekeeping.
To get started, Site and Space Admins can setup space or global automation rules.
Automation rules are comprised of trigger, conditions, branches and actions that are formatted as “If this, then that.” The very first step to creating your automation rule is to create a trigger, which sets the rest of your rule in motion.
When you’ve selected your first trigger you have the ability to add conditions, branches or go straight to setting up an action for your trigger. For instance, you may want to schedule an automatic page creation for a meeting that recurs weekly, where you spend time each week manually creating the page.
Once you’ve setup all the components for your automation rule, you can mark that tedious task off your to do list and let Automation for Confluence do the work for you.
As your rules run and changes are made you can refer back to the audit log to track changes and ensure everything is still running smoothly.
Don’t know where to start? We’ve provided templates for automation that you can begin using immediately.
