Insert multiple excerpts from the same page

Is there a maximum on exerpts to create on the same page?

After creating 13 excerpts on the same page I get this message when including one of them on a new page:

You have duplicate excerpt names. 
To select the excerpt you want, give it a unique name on the source page.
Go to source page  

 This is clearly not the case.

I do not see an option to name the excerpt. Was this feature removed?

Posted a picture from my [Cloud] instance.  The name of the Excerpt is entered in the new window that opens when you edit the excerpt.

Does this work in Data Center? Can't seem to find a way to select individual excerpts from a page

I have a customer seeing the same issue in DC and I have tested on the free tier and I don't see the option for the individual excerpt. My customer has the same issue and they are an enterprise DC customer.

I have access to both a cloud instance and a DC instance and I am sorry to say that I can find no way to name an excerpt in the DC instance. This is a HUGE disadvantage to DC customers. Looking back, this whole thread is about the Cloud version and people were asking for this on the DC version 3 years ago!
