Hi everyone!
We know you’re always looking for the best ways to use our sites and spaces. To make your workflow a whole lot more efficient, we’ve put together a four-part video series to show you how to make the most of Confluence.
Right now you probably have information stored in Word docs and email, and other details stored in PDFs, Slack messages, and even on Post-It notes. Knowledge that’s kept in a million different places can be extremely difficult to find, especially if you work with a variety of teams with their own file types and locations, and even more so if you have a global team across multiple time zones.
Sorry if you’re suddenly feeling a little stressed out! This is a perfect scenario where Confluence can save the day. It’s a central workspace where you organize all of your work, collaborate with your teams, and get your work done. Think of it as a Swiss army knife for productivity.
In this video, you’ll get familiar with Home, one of our latest features and the ultimate resource for what pages you’ve recently visited, worked on, starred, or drafted.
With the new navigation bar, you can reach whatever information you need from anywhere in Confluence. To find exactly what you’re looking for, use Confluence’s better-than-ever search and advanced search filters to narrow down results by space, contributor, last modified, and more. With the all-powerful page tree, you can see all of the pages in a space and drag n drop to reorganize where they appear.
We’ll also cover the space directory for finding existing spaces as well as team spaces, which are a one-stop-shop for everything your team is working on like meeting notes, project plans, and more. You can also create a personal space where you can store all of your personal content, as well as track personal goals and host drafts that aren’t ready to be viewed by others.
Keep an eye out for our next video in the series! Let us know your questions and thoughts in the comments.
