Celebrate the End of the Year with a Live Learning session: Let’s use Confluence and Jira together!

It’s been a banner year for new Jira and Confluence integrations. We launched a lot of new and improved features that users love! Before we close the book on 2024, join us to discover all the newest ways to move work forward.

Learn about fresh features and why Jira and Confluence work better together on December 11 from 9-10am CST for a special 60-minute live learning session.

Community Instructor, Matt Reiner, and David Olive, a product manager for Confluence and Jira integrations, will share how Jira and Confluence empower teams to:

  • Reduce duplicative work and manual labor. Teams move faster when they link Confluence pages to tasks in Jira.

  • Cut down on context switching. Bring focus to teamwork with native integrations between Jira and Confluence.

  • Share relevant information, at the right time. New features for project documentation and reporting help teams work smarter.

Whether you’re new to using Jira and Confluence or want to brush up on all the latest integrations, you’ll leave with takeaways that work seamlessly for you and your team. Plus, you’ll have a chance to ask questions in the live chat.

A couple of surprises await:

  • Attend the session live, and you’ll be entered to win a $50 gift card of your choice!

  • After watching the session (live or on-demand on YouTube), come back to this article and share what you learned in the comments to earn a brand-new Confluence and Jira: Better Together kudos badge!

A very helpful presentation from Matt and David, thank you!

My new employer has Jira and Confluence but is not using Confluence at all (not one space defined). I'm hoping to change that when I make my proposal to management in the new year. This webinar and the many Rock the Docs resources will help with that. Wish me luck!

What I learned is that I can do a lot of Confluence stuff from inside JIRA. I've only used it the other way around until now. I also learned that most shown features are not available in the Data Center editions.

This was great! I didn't realize how robust the Confluence page creation process in Jira has become. That's super handy!

Great session! We have confluence standard. It was good to see some of the benefits of moving to premium with some of the new AI features.

Thanks for hosting Matt and David!

I'm excited to see what the future for AI and Confluence holds to simplify tasks associated with creation of tickets. Also excited what this means for future integrations that Atlassian may offer with other add-ons such Slack, etc!

I learned more about smartlinks - embedding issues and timelines in Confluence. Creating Jira issues from Confluence and much more! Thank you!

This is definitely a must-watch!

Creating Jira issues directly from Confluence is going to save a lot of time!

My company doesn't have AI, so we won't be able to do create issues in bulk, but we can still create them individually from Confluence.

Thanks guys and glad to learn new things.
This integration helps our teams not only work on Jira issues but also write important documentation directly and submit it via Confluence.
Happy holidays

I can just say that we use Jira and Confluence integration on a day-to-day basis. 💪

Apart from this great session, I would recommend checking out the official University course related to collaborating within Jira and Confluence: Collaborate effectively with Jira and Confluence together

Project Pages feature is very useful for documentating project artifacts in the same location of the project in Jira without going to Confluence product separetelly
