"Implementing Atlassian Confluence" is written for people who want to know how Confluence can help their teams work better at a business level. The author runs an Atlassian consulting business, and the book feels exactly like what could be given to prospective customers to help them get started. "Why a book?" you might ask. It turns out that books are still a good way to collect the information about different aspects of a topic. The videos can come later anyway.
Confluence Cloud is the platform discussed, not Data Center, which is fair given that this is where Atlassian is heading. I wanted more details of troubleshooting and tips, but that's not the intent of this book. There are plenty of links to places to find that information.
The quality of the writing and editing is excellent, as are the many screenshots and the index. I also liked the Q&A format at the end of each chapter.
One interesting note is that I found the word "wiki" used only once. Which seens to match the use of the word on Atlassian's website these days.
