Mentioning teams

I am wanting to mention teams in the User type field, as per: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/mention-a-person-or-team/

Currently there is no way to do this. There is no way to even add in static text in the User type field. I would like to see this all addressed. My current workaround is just to set the field to a Text field and not use mentions at all, which is not ideal.

Agree with @Mark A_ Szekely, referencing user groups (teams) would be very helpful
