Please implement query functionality

I really don't see the point of databases without query options, you can achieve exactly the same thing with regular tables inside pages:

• You can create filters with many more functionalities than the current databases filters have at the moment
• If you want to display an extract of the data in another page, Table Excerpt Includes are already available and fully stable, and you can add any filter you want.
• Inserting or changing data is a manual and tedious task, which is not different from the regular table in pages.
• The only real difference I see comparing them with Table Excerpts is the layout

Whats the point of building a new tool that duplicates functionalities and serves no new purpose? Also the name is misleading because databases are supposed to be queried

Seems that the macros you are referring to are ours and belong to the Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app that we develop.

If you don't mind us supporting Confluence Databases, please vote for this ticket. As for now, we don't have any technical possibility to do it.

Exactly, these macros are a workaround at the moment, but they are not exactly what we should be using for several use cases. Thank you for sharing this, one vote is simply not enough for me, I can't smash that vote button enough
