Improvements for Image Field Type

We want to use databases for our visual content and are facing some limitations with the Image Field Type:

• Portrait images (1080x1440) are cut off at the top and bottom. 
• If you'd insert an image in a normal Confluence table, you could click on it and view it in full-screen. Now you can only upload a different image but you can't view the image in a larger size anymore.
• Animated GIFs are not supported.

Is anyone else in need of these fixes/features?

A couple more:

• Multiple images; currently restricted to one
• Convert images to thumbnails; the images are huge and make the table rows way larger than they need to be.
  • A modal / full screen view like you suggested would help with this.
