apps: "little trouble" is NOT "just a hiccup"

Mike Stell May 10, 2022

We are evaluating knowledge tools, so created a couple new trial sites, and are not able (per screenshot) to add apps in the dropdown menu "find new apps", despite being admins, trying multiple apps, request/approve, etc.

curiously, I AM able to get Gliffy app to show up in side bar by using the associated template, but I have not found a template for every app, and the UX/support has not made a great first impression...

While the apps still don't show up in that "apps" dropdown, they somehow eventually (~1 week, 15 "adds") ended up in the left hand pane, and are available in editor context, so I'll just move on and hope someone else is interested in pursuing the root cause solution.

This isn't normal. Have you raised this with Atlassian support?

"Support" seemed to be outsourced to paying customers, but maybe I didn't jump through the right hoops, or it is not available in trial phase?
