Why is the text color palette so limited?

Jake Brandspigel November 22, 2019

We used to have a decent color palette for text colors when creating posts in confluence - now it is extremely limited (no yellow for example).  Any reason for that?  How can we get a fuller palette again?

Jake,

It should also be noted, depending on which version of the editor you're using, that the new "restricted" color palette has to do with making the system friendly for color-blindness. There is info on this page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/confluence-cloud-editor-roadmap-967314556.html?_ga=2.94101597.1927533189.1574684482-1154560300.1570462982 .

There may be other open issues related to this that may warrant your vote if applicable.

Both https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-39674 and https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-40697

may be the public-facing ticket for this issue.  Vote and comment on the one that best pertains, and Atlassian may or may not take your opinion into account.

Hi bob,

I voted for the second one.  Both are from 2016 and the one I agree with only had three votes.

Thanks
