What happened to linking a single attachment within page text?

Probably the most common task online ever! There is text, and in that text there is a link. That link, links to a single file. Why does the "link" option not include files?

This is a result of the introduction of the new editor, however they are planning to reintroduce this feature again - see https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-65302

Thanks but I already figured out that work around and didn't want to hard code absolute paths manually.
