Does it mean that I can assign only mysubdomain.mydomain.tld to my attlasian cloud account?
if I have jira and confluence can I have both jira.mydomain.tld and confluence.mydomain.tld to point to the atlassian hosted sites?
In what context? Where are you seeing this prhase.
On Cloud, not really. You can have your domains, but they won't host Jira or Confluence Cloud. The best they will be able to do is a simple redirect - you land on those domains and a script tells your browser "you need to go over there" and point to mydomain.atlassian.net/<wiki or jira>
This is disappointing since it is so easy to configure atlassian's server for this feature.
