A document was being edited and an entire section was inadvertently deleted. I have been unable to locate an action that will undo the action/deletion.

I'm interested in undoing an edit prior to publishing and so looking at the history would not really work. We have just converted over to the cloud version and so are working through the differences. I had an individually who was trying to insert a section to a part of a page instead it applied to the entire page and when he removed the section all the content of the page was deleted. I have since reverted to the last published version, but I don't think this will be the last time sometime like this happens.
In the previous version of Confluence prior to going to the cloud there was an emoji to undo and that's what's what everyone was looking for in the Cloud version.
I recalled an command I haven't used in awhile and it worked.
PC: Ctrl+Z
Mac: Cmdn+Z

I agree with Robert Brown. We have several of my groups from my team that is asking for the undo icon. I can only see this undo icon if I created the page but unable to see this if I'm not the page owner.
Are there any plans to bring the undo and redo icons back?
