I would like to know, if there is any possibility to set multiple sub-pages under an access limitation for a single user. I know that you can put an access restriction on a "head"page and it will count for all concerning sub-pages. Is it possible to set a limitation for multiple sub-pages? So that eg. the "head"page + a single sub-page remain available for a single user but all other sub-pages are restricted? Or do I have to put all single sub-pages "manually" under a specific limitation?
Hi Sandeep,
What type of backup/export options do you have with ektron? What backup formats can you generate out of the cms? Some additional details about where in the process you are stuck would be great since familiarity with ektron is required to answer your question.
Here is a link to the documentation with the known ways of importing content into Confluence:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Importing+Content+from+Another+Wiki
You're going to need to export the content from ektron to a format that Confluence is able to import.
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for the reply. There is no direct option to migrate Ektron contents into Confluence. So we got an approach like "Integrating Ektron with Sharepoint", Below is the link to the documnetation provided by Ektron:
http://documentation.ektron.com/cms300/CMS300_sharepointIntegration.pdf
From above link we can integrate ektron with sharepoint and then try to migrate the Integrated Ektron contents in sharepoint to confluence.
Our question here is that, Is it possible to migrate the Integrated Ektron contents which is present in sharepoint to Confluence?
Thanks,
Sandeep.
