What happened to 'code block' in new page editor

Started a new page and was told I need to use the new format. I am doing so but now wasting a lot of time trying to find where 'code block' went. Does anyone know how to insert a code block in new page editor system?

Thanks.

Hi Erwin

The button to add a new space should be in the Dashboard, below the "Get Started" title.

Also it supposed to have a link "Add Space" in the dashboard, between the links Invite Users and Add Pages.

If the links aren't there, you may create a space accessing this link directly:

http://<MyConfluenceURL>/spaces/createspace-start.action

Hope it helps :)

The cause is we have custom 'Global Layout' which is causing the add spave button to hide.

Looks like you've opened a ticket through https://support.atlassian.com.

As a first approach to this problem that you're experiencing, could please perform the following at your instance:

  • Restart your Confluence;
  • After please try to rebuild the content indices from scratch

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONF35/Rebuild+the+Content+Indices+from+scratch

Also, if the action above doesn't solve the problem, could you please go to Confluence Admin > Look and Feel, then verify the following?

  • Themes: See which theme you're using, switch back to the default if you're not using it already.
  • Layouts: See if you have any custom layout defined, if yes then make a backup and reset to default.
  • Stylesheet: See if you have custom stylesheet, if yes then make a backup and reset to default.
  • Custom HTML: See if you have any custom HTML defined, if yes then reset to default.

Kind Regards
