Hi Irene,

Depending on which browser you're using you have to use different file:// notation. See the examples on this page. Testing locally, this worked perfect for me:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Can't+Link+to+Local+Files+from+within+Confluence

I tested on Chrome, using Confluence 5.1 and the chrome extension. I followed the instructions to use file:////<location>

After saving the page, clicking the link, Chrome showed me the contents of the log file I linked to. See screenshot for details on my implementation.

Hope this helps!

Hi Ryan,
thank you for your support.

I'm using both Chrome and Firefox. After downloading the extensions, I've noted "file:///<location>" (3 slashes) works for both of them. :))

Thank you again!!

Ps: Can you help me also for this issue: "User Macro: Dynamic Content"?
You can find it always in Atlassian Answers.

Bye Bye!
