Page Layout Limitation

I am wondering if this is the limitation of Confluence to only allow users to customize with their column options. I was hoping it could be more dynamic, let's say 2 columns on top and just one big spread below so that I can contain more information. But what it does when I try to add a new section, the same 2 columns format applies.

Its a bit tough to understand the cause of your issue without analyzing the logs. We highly recommend you to send this query to our support channel in order to get the appropriate support on this issue.

Just to confirm again, please double check if your server base configuration on your JIRA instance "General Configuration" exactly the same as how you access it. For example, if you access it trough http://jira.burntapps.com:8090 then you would need to configured it as http://jira.burntapps.com:8090 at your "General Configuration" page.
