When you edit a file in Confluence using the companion app, it appears to put a copy of the file in a new folder (uses a generated Guid for the name) in the .atlassian-companion folder in the user's profile.
Can these folders be subsequently deleted? Is there any registry settings to have the deleted automatically? Can the companion.log file be safely deleted?
Thanks!!
Hi,
Does the page in question exist already? If it does, can you please try and rebuild indexes from scratch and see if that helps? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Rebuild+the+Content+Indices+from+Scratch
The related documentation can be found here, but I believe you are aware of it: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Moving+an+Attachment
Kind regards,
Peter
The page exists and already has other attachments. I also can create a link to the page using "[<page title>]" on the page where the attachment currently is linked to, so I don't think it is an index issue.

Thanks for the link to the latest Confluence page. I just noticed that the latest documentation includes a hint about moving attachments into different spaces. The correct syntax for personal spaces is: "~<user>:<page title>".

Happy to hear, Tobias! :)
