Jira pages feature with different Confluence instance

Jira has a new feature called: Pages

image2018-9-28_15-12-20

https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/the-new-pages-feature-in-jira-software-project-958770525.html

"When you have Jira and Confluence on the same instance, you just need to connect a Jira project with a Confluence space, and you're good to go."

But what if I've already got Confluence running on a different instance?

Is there any way to use the Pages without migrating my existing Confluence instance to the same instance as Jira?

Hi Kevin,

After consultation with the developer team, they confirmed that this isn't a supported feature where JIRA pages link does not work if you have a separate confluence domain and there is an open feature request which can be tracked here:

You can add yourself as a watcher if you want to get further updates on the feature request. The feature will be addressed in accordance with our New Features Policy, you can read it to better understand how Atlassian developers handle these inquiries.

Warm regards,
Suren Raj
