Is there any way to get the attached file data in required encoding format.

Hi ,

Is there any way to get the attached xml file content as client required encoding format?

Ex:  attached cdcatalog.xml  in page/space.

Using Javascript AP.request we are calling download/attachments/ API, where i have to send encoding value given by users, based on this i would like to get the xml file data in given encoding format from this mentioned API.

Currently always the response header content-type value is "text/html;charset=UTF-8" from confluence server. Is there any way to get response content-type as "application/xml;charset=(ISO-8859-1/Big5/UTF-32) in user given encoded value.

Hi there, @Test Automation {Appfire},

Thank you for bringing this up to us. I'm really not sure about that, but I would recommend raising the same question with one of our Developer Resources as those might be the experts on this topic you are looking for.

If you do find out, please follow-up here as well, in case anyone else has the same question.

Regards,

Shannon
