When my company was using Jira on its own server, I was able to use the markdown macro and in it I could paste a chart using the chart syntax. e.g.:
{chart:type=pie|title=Fish Sold}
|| Fish Type || 2004 || 2005 ||
|| Herring | 9,500 | 8,300 |
|| Salmon | 2,900 | 4,200 |
|| Tuna | 1,500 | 1,500 |
{chart}
But now on the Jira Cloud we don't have this macro anymore, now we can just paste the markdown on the page directly.
Having said that, the chart markdown is not working anymore.
Does anybody have an idea if there's a new syntax for it or it won't just be possible anymore?
The road map says that Insert markdown is available; however, "supports all commands except ||table|| converts when pasted".
Thanks Nicole, but it's still weird base on this you provided.
I'm able to paste tables, not using ||Table|| but still.
Only the chart is not working.
I think the syntax might have changed and I can't find the new syntax.
