Editing an Excel sheet on multiple pages

Hi everyone,

is there any way to edit a unique excel sheet on multiple pages and have the changes applied to all pages?

Currently we are using the excel macro. However, only the central document can be edited and not those on the other pages.

Cheers

Hi @Timo Winkler ,

As I see, you want to reuse your xls file on multiple pages and have an opportunity to edit every reused table (all the changes should be applied to the source file).

You have two tags for your question: Server and Cloud. So, I've checked how the Office Excel macro works for both of them.

Server

You can edit every reused table by hitting the Edit button near the table.

Office Excel Edit.pngThen you need to update your source attachment with the help of the Atlassian Companion (you will be prompted to download the app). All the reused tables will be updated as well.

Cloud

As it is said in the Atlassian Documentation, you should be also able to reuse your xls file with the help of the Office Excel macro. But the Edit button doesn't appear near the macro table. So, you can update only the source xls file and not the reused tables. It seems that there are no any standard Confluence tools to suit your case.

Here you can describe your suggestions for the Office Excel macro.
