Creating an SIT Defect Table in Confluence

Hi,

We have integrated Jira with Confluence. We have a requirement of creating an SIT Defects Table in a Confluence Space in the below format:

SIT_Defects_Table.JPG

Now, we don't have some of the above fields in Jira which we can extract in Confluence. Please help us to get this done.

Hi @Anurag Sonawane

You could create these fields, with the right permissions. I'm not sure which hosting type you're using so here's some information you could check out:

----------------

When adding fields, I would consider what needs to be populated manually and what could be automated.

Cloud has Automation inbuilt, whilst Server/DC would require an automation or scripting app to be purchased. Using this - assuming a Journey is Epic-level (parent of stories, bugs, etc) - you could create custom number fields, then automate the count of stories or bugs, or custom date fields, then populate UAT Start/End based on status transitions or sub-task completion, etc.

See more on Automation on this page, as an example. Other automation/scripting apps can be viewed on the Marketplace.

--------------

Finally, it might be worth considering a more advanced test tracking app. Check out the search results on this Marketplace page for options!
