Are there better ways to track updates made to confluence page - Other than Change-history macro?

Hi All,

Our team struggles to keep track of changes made to a document on confluence. We use confluence to document requirements (stories, EPICS) 

And there are changes made to them quite often. What is the best way to track these changes>

To track changes made to a document on Confluence, it is recommended to use the Watch feature. By selecting the Watch button, located at the top-right of the page, you can choose to watch just that page or all pages in the space. This way, when changes are made to pages you're watching, or someone comments on them, you'll get an email notification letting you know who changed what. This feature can help your team save time and track all the content they care about.

As @Riley Venable (Atlas Bench) said, the Watch feature is a good way of being immediately notified about page changes.

I also recommend using Page History and comparing versions. Each page save is logged as a separate version, and you can track what changes have been made throughout the page's existence.

"Watch" is the primary tool to track changes on individual pages, but it may result in a large number of notification emails if your site is really active.

Therefore you could try using the Confluence daily digest emails to receive a daily summary with the list of changes done the previous day:

Or, if you need more configurability, use the custom notifications feature provided by the Better Content Archiving app:

It allows you to set up your preferred schedule, a CQL filter to search for the contents (e.g. search for all pages updated yesterday and not labelled with "no-notify"), select the recipients (users, groups, etc.) and edit the email subject and body.
