Why does Compass need "Full access" key for PagerDuty?

Wondering if there is any documentation on the reason that Compass integration with PagerDuty requires a "Full access" key?

https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/compass/integrations/integrate-Compass-with-PagerDuty/

I couldn't seem to find any info on the why - only info that it is required.

Hi @Sara Tucker

I'm going to assume it's something to do with information being read/written between the two Apps requiring more permissions than read-oonly.

But, it's just a guess.

As it's not stated on the main documentation page, I would ask Atlassian Support for the reason - contact them here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Let us know what they say!

Hi, we're unable to connect to PagerDuty at all. After double checking our connection and API keys, we believe this to be a bug.

Hi @Sara Tucker - you maybe interested to know that we are building alert and on-call capabilities in Compass. See this post where we announced early access availability for this. We expect to roll this out fully in next few weeks.
