G’day y’all,

It’s been a while but Patrick here from the Compass product team. I’m back to announce an exciting new feature for Compass users: the launch of our Weekly Digest email!

Check your inbox now and have a read through! If you aren’t a Compass customer currently, here’s a sample of what it looks like:

From talking to customers over the past 6 months and from understanding Atlassian’s own journey to the cloud, we’ve learnt that it’s important to understand what has happened across your teams and architecture so that we can all work towards a healthier state. With the first version of this email, there are some key insights we’ve captured to keep everyone abreast of what’s been happening:

• Components: Starting at the top, we have an overview of the total components on a site, how many have been added in the last week, as well as how many deployments and incidents have occurred in the last week.

• Team moods: Scrolling down, you’ll see a summary of all the Teams on your Compass site, with what mood they reported in CheckOps for that week

• Your teams: Here we provide a breakdown of the mood of each Team you’re part of, the mood that got reported for that week, along with a breakdown of current Scorecard health and the number of Deployments + Incidents.

• Announcements: From talking to the Compass community, it’s not always clear when your dependencies are changing so we created the Announcements feature to help Teams coordinate when Components are changing - this is a critical constant drumbeat for everyone! We’ve surfaced Announcements in this email to help share what’s up with your distributed architecture.
