@Lana have you checked in the Chicago group? Are you a Community Events Leader?
@Monique vdB , thank you for your response. I work at Polontech company - Atlassian Silver Partner since 2010. As far as I understand the rules of AUG, I can not be Community Events Leader and therefor can not do much to promote our event there. I tried to reach out to mentioned group leaders here https://aug.atlassian.com/chicago/ but had no luck.

Hi Lana, checking in with the leaders in Chicago - I haven't seen Agile+ deployed in our environments. There is speaking expertise to Kanban vs Scrum, scaling and planning.
As to event time - If you can pivot earlier vs later that would help. The city loop tends to be a commuter center with people typically fleeing for their last express trains at the 6:30p mark.

It is great to have you on board! Your future input on Kanban vs Scrum, scaling and planning is appreciated. We would happily advertise your participation. Is there is a chance you could post our meetup announce on aug.chicago?
As to event time - let us see what we can do with regards to booking at 1871 center. Thank you for pointing this out. What time you suggest would be optimal for this location, you and our audience?

Hi Lana, fortunately we cannot publish vendor driven events as Atlassian Community Events. I can refer you to the Atlassian community team for guidelines on what we are able to do.
For event times, we've been looking to start as early as 4pm. I have seen some groups, such as powershell users start as early as 3pm with good results as well.
Best,
Greg

Hello, Gregory!
I understand the rules of AUG and would really appreciate your help with reference to Atlassian community team. I hope there would be some way to promote our Jira+Agile meetup.
With regards to timing, unfortunately, we cannot change the time of event and it would start at 6pm at 1871. Does it mean that you won’t be able to participate as our featured speaker?

@Gregory Van Den Ham Hello!
Could you please answer to my request? I had not received any response from Atlassian Community in Chicago. We have now more than 40 people RSVPed on our web-site, but could have more attention with your help. The subject of Agile+Jira getting a lot of interest in community within 1871 center and meetup in Chicago as well.
looking forward to hear from you,
Lana
