two step verification failed

Hi,

I have two step verification issue.

I use authy for verification. The setup looks fine. But when I login, it keeps saying

`You entered an incorrect verification code`.

I had tried several time and wait for new code. But keep failure. How to resolve this?

Hi Paul and welcome to the community!

Bitbucket uses Atlassian accounts (the ones for https://id.atlassian.com/) for authentication.

At the moment, it is possible to set up 2FA both for a Bitbucket account (from this page: https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/two-step-verification/manage) and also for the linked Atlassian account (from this page: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security).

I checked your account status in our system and you have enabled 2FA both for the Bitbucket and the Atlassian account. When you do that, there should be two accounts listed in your authenticator app, one for the Atlassian account and one for Bitbucket. You cannot use Atlassian account 2FA codes for Bitbucket and vice versa.

Can you please confirm if you see two entries/accounts in your authenticator app, one for the Atlassian account and another one for Bitbucket?
