Good day,

We have a free account, but for security and business continuity reasons, we want to acquire a new premium account. 
Can we then transfer the repositories from that free account to the premium account?

You can definitely transfer repositories from one workspace to another using the Transfer Repository Ownership feature.

Let me share the steps to start the transfer : 

1. From the repository you want to transfer, click Repository settings in the left menu.

2. On the Repository details page, click Manage repository located at the top-right corner of the screen.

3. Click Transfer repository.

4. Enter the Workspace ID of the workspace in which you want to transfer the repository.

5. Click Transfer.

 An email will be sent to the Administrators of the destination workspace and the transfer will be in a Pending state. They will need to accept the transfer using the link on that email. The transfer will only be effective after an Admin accepts it.

Repositories pertain to a workspace, not to an account. In this case, yes! you should be able to transfer repositories between any different workspaces.

Hi Thanks for your answer, but, even if im not the admin on the other account, i'll be able to transfer between two different workspaces.

If you are just an Admin in the source workspace, but not in the destination workspace, you will be able to start the transfer from the source workspace, but one of the Admins of the destination workspace will need to accept the transfer for it to be completed.
