reset password on git client

When I try to fetch or push to my Bitbucket repo I get the following error message.

Could not read from remote repository

```

It doesn't ask for my username or password. So I suspect I've set the password incorrectly in the past. How do I go about reseting it?

I have credentials listed in a credential store but they are for a different remote.
