Hey there, @Mohammad Hilal! Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

We understand you're looking for a 2SV reset procedure. To give some context into that, the procedure is as follows:

When prompted for the 2SV codes, the user will need to click on "Forgot code" and then on "Send recovery e-mail".

The user will then receive an email with the confirmation that the recovery process has been initiated. There is a 24 hours wait period to receive the email with a one-time recovery link to be able to access the user's account. You can read more regarding this process here: https://support.atlassian.com/bitbucket-cloud/docs/enable-two-step-verification/

That being said, based on our records we can confirm that the 2SV recovery process was initiated 9 hours ago. The recovery email confirmation should have been sent to the same email address you used to raise this support request. According to our records, the access link should be email to you in approximately 15 hours.

Please keep in mind that the 24h delay is necessary as a measure to protect our customer and their data from social engineering attempts and we will not be able to bypass this process.

Also just as a heads up, checking your account we could verify that you are also using MFA for your Atlassian account. Expanding a little on the topic, currently there are 2 different types of two-step verifications we can set, one is at the Atlassian account level and the other is at the Bitbucket Cloud account level:

The MFA is set in the Atlassian account level (Access https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security to configure it).

The 2SV is set on the Bitbucket account level (Access https://bitbucket.org/account/settings/two-step-verification/manage to configure it).

So keep that in mind that when you log-in the system will first request the MFA key:

and then the 2SV key (for which the reset has already been requested):

In case you are also missing the MFA verification device I'd suggest asking for you org administrator to disable MFA temporarily so you can disable the 2SV for your Bitbucket account.

Let me know if this is helpful and if you have any questions please let reach out and we'll be glad to help! :)

Cheers,
Vinicius
