reg. access right issue

Hi,

When i m trying to pull code base from one of bit bucket repo, i m getting "permission issue" issue. see errors below

 

The requested repository either does not exist or you do not have access. If you believe this repository exists and you have access, make sure you're authenticated.

fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

 

Please make sure you have the correct access rights

and the repository exists.

i believe someone from my organisation have added the pub key, and i am not sure who is added and how do i find the user account, please help me resolve the issue.

Hi @Karthik SJ,

The message indicates that you are trying to pull via SSH.

The error you see means that

  • either you don't have access to the repo
  • or that you have access and SSH is not properly configured

If you have access to your repo, you can follow the instructions from one of the following links to set up SSH keys for your account, depending on the OS of your computer:

Please make sure to also follow step 2 of the section Add your key to the SSH agent, to ensure that the correct SSH key is used when connecting to Bitbucket.

I would not recommend using another user's account or SSH keys.

This is what it says it is - you don't have access to the repository.  Your best bet is to ask the people who asked you to use the repository for access to it.
