Hi everyone!

I've been trying to get my source control and new files to sync, but have been struggling to get it to sync. Every time I go to sync and enter my password to confirm with Git, it tells me my credentials are invalid despite changing my password twice and knowing it is correct. I'm not sure why this is happening now; I have tried cloning the repository again, configuring my username and email, changing my password, disconnecting my VS Code from Bitbucket and reconnecting it, making sure my extensions are the same as they are on my home computer where syncing is working, almost short of just completely reinstalling.

Is there something I'm missing or could do differently to fix this issue? Any sort of guidance would be really appreciated.

Hi @Mars Cooper

Welcome to the community.

Would it be possible for you to confirm if you're using an App password as your password credential?

If not yet, could you try to generate one and use it as your password?

This is because of this: Deprecating Atlassian account password for Git and Bitbucket API activity

Mark C
