"Page not found" when using +folder package notation

I'm currently migrating a large MATLAB project into Bitbucket. In this project we are using the +folder @class naming convention for packaged folders in MATLAB. When I've commited the files into Bitbucket repositories and try to navigate into a folder with + at the start of it's name, I get the error "Page Not Found".

I have created identical folders and removed the + from the name and this seems to work fine. I've spoken with people who have used this same notation on their bitbucket server and it works fine, so I can't quite understand why this one doesn't.

Has anyone experienced something similar or know what might be causing the issue?
