question on "too many reports present" error

Hi there,

I am a developer from SonarCloud. When trying to create a report for a commit, we frequently receive HTTP 400 errors with the message: 

"key": "report-service.report.max-reports", "message": "Too many reports present."

I tried to look for documentation about the limit and how it will be resolved, but I didn't manage to find any.  

Could you give me more details on the limit? and is it possible to increase it? and how it gets resolved after some time?

Could you please provide a link to the API documentation for the endpoint you are attempting to use?

It would also be helpful to see a basic cURL command that is being executed when you receive these errors.

Hi Ben,

Yes, the documentation of the endpoint we are calling is this one.

The endpoint calls succeed most of the time, but we are getting this error in a production environment. I assume it's because our user base has been constantly growing, and we are hitting a limit in Bitbucket. We want to know more details about this limit "report-service.report.max-reports", and see whether there is a way to increase it.

We have a limit of 10 reports per commit and I'm afraid that we cannot increase this. We have a feature request about increasing this limit here:
