lighthouse bug tracking not working

I am using lighthouseapp.com to track bugs and have gone through the tutorial for integration with bitbucket but when I commit using git (e.g. git commit -m 'resolved a bug [#1 state:resolved]') the ticket on lighthouse is not affected, none of the commands do anything at all.

Can anyone help?
