how to set up correctly the mercurial executable path on Fisheye?

Amarsson July 26, 2014

I have downloaded Altassian's Fisheye, and I have sourcetree and TortoiseHG properly installed.

I am unable to set up correctly the mercurial (hg) path in Fisheye.

That is, in the HG executable server settings in Fisheye, when I enter the TortoiseHG executable path `C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg` I get he error message

C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg does not exist or can not be accessed.

Also, If I try the test connection button when I (try to) connect to my mercurial repositories, I get

Error testing connection.
CreateProcess error=2

what to do? Many thanks!

The Mercurial executable path is the full path and file name of the Mercurial executable, not just the directory in which the executable is found, so it should be something like C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg\hg.exe

Thats in the manual, if someone asks about its cuz its not working.... im getting the error "Bad hg executable: No version string found in output of C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg\hg.exe version" no idea why...
