I'm sorry to hear that. Let's try to find what's causing that. It's very hard to trace things on our side without knowing more details like the username you tried.
Can you locate the error response in the network tab of dev tools in your browser by any chance? It'll likely have a Sentry header with a hash that will help a lot with tracing this problem down.
