how can I delete an unwanted commit from Bitbucket UI?

I want to delete a latest commit on my feature branch. But due to company standards, force push is disabled in Bitbucket for us. I want to delete an unwanted commit and unable to do a Git reset because Git force push is not allowed.

Is there a way to simply delete the commit from UI? I am a project Admin.

Hi @Anjali ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

Idea - what about to:

  • delete the feature branch in Bitbucket only, not locally
  • remove the commit locally
  • push the branch back to Bitbucket again
