Stash v1.2.2
git --version => git version 1.7.9.3
java -version => java version "1.6.0_26"
error:
git was not found on the PATH for Stash. Please add git version 1.7.6 or higher to the PATH and restart Stash.
i tried the fix found in https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/82492/stash-requires-git-1-7-6-but-git-1-7-11-is-installed ( adding the stash-config.properties file with the key ) and I have also adjusted and readjust the path environment variable to no avail.
I created a special stash user and I can manually run the git commands as that user without an issue, but the stash process itself will not see git installed or as the correct version.
Any help resolving this would be great. My company is trying out several different varieties of these tools for internal use.
Hi Brian,
My guess is that It sounds like we'll have to have a look at your logs to figure out why things are not working for you. Can you open a support request on https://support.atlassian.com?
Cheers,
Michael
