While trying to give the git command:
git pull origin master

I am getting the error as "OpenSSL/3.1.2: error:0A000152:SSL routines::unsafe legacy renegotiation disabled" due to which I am unable to pull the latest changes from master repository to my local repository.

How do I resolve this error ?

Hi Akshaan and welcome to the community!

Are you trying to pull from a Bitbucket Cloud or a Bitbucket Server repo?

The URL of a Bitbucket Cloud repo starts with https://bitbucket.org/, while a Bitbucket Server repo has a different custom URL.

Your question has the tag 'bitbucket-cloud', but your Bitbucket Cloud account doesn't have access to any repos and I've seen this error reported for Bitbucket Server.

In case this is a Bitbucket Server repo, you can check the following knowledge base article for diagnosis, cause, and solution for this error:

Kind regards,
Theodora
